Dr. Maretha Prinsloo is a psychologist and entrepreneur who has focused her career on transforming the landscape of psychological assessment and development paradigms.
By investigating human consciousness and how people interpret their worlds – cognitively, conatively, and affectively, she has developed and validated in-depth algorithmic systems that underpin a range of unique psychological assessment tools and developmental programs that significantly differ from traditional approaches.
Dr. Prinsloo is a chartered psychologist with extensive experience in counselling-, clinical- and research psychology. Her PhD dissertation is titled “A Theoretical Model and Empirical Technique for the Study of Problem-Solving Processes.” She has published articles on cognition, consciousness and leadership in peer-reviewed journals; created evidence bases on the metric properties of her assessment tools; authored blogs and trained thousands of psychologists globally in using the Cognadev products. Additionally, she has for several decades provided personalized feedback on assessment results to high-stakes candidates as well as designed and delivered psychological development courses on strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, creative leadership and emotional intelligence.
In conjunction with her research and development work, Dr. Prinsloo founded and managed the Cognadev businesses in South Africa, the UK, Belgium, and Ireland to deliver innovative Talent Management solutions to hundreds of organizations globally.
Her approach to psychological assessment is anchored in validated holonic theoretical models, reflecting a holistic perspective of all aspects of psychological functioning, the results of which are contextualized in terms of work-related requirements.
The innovative assessment methodologies she’s developed focus on key psychological constructs, including consciousness, values, worldviews, cognition, motivation, emotional intelligence, energy themes, and performance risk.
She also created Cliquidity, a social media platform, offering a variety of volume assessment products and HRM functionalities to the public and to corporates.
